「MY Story」
Even Wu is an award-winning film director + film writer based in Toronto and Los Angeles. Since 18-year-old, she has written and directed more than 25 films of diverse genres and themes. Her works as a film director spanned short/feature fiction films + documentaries + commercials + music videos. She has received many festival accolades around the globe, including the Cannes Film Festival (Short Film Corner) and Venice Film Festival (Focus on China Category). In addition to making films in the United States and Canada, she also pursues film projects in China, where she has directed 4 feature-length films that have been nationally released. Her films often focus on character-driven stories of people changing the world in a visually compelling way. She indulges in edgy visuals and strives to create significant and captivating films that reflect a passion for storytelling.

「WHEN I AM NOT A DIRECTOR」
Even Wu is not only a filmmaker. She is a storyteller in life. She tells stories via color and texture where she plays the role of Founder | Interior Designer at Cherub Project Inc. – an interior design studio in Toronto, Canada.
As a designer art/toy collector, Even has also founded a creative studio – TORUN STUDIO INC. which focus on original art-design & designer collectibles trading. She also tells stories via cuisine where she plays the role of Founder | Marketing Executive at Even Life – a restaurant in California, USA. She’s interested in telling stories not only through lens but every little things in life. She believes that storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.
